Kristin Gianelis, DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, WHNP-BC, MSCP
Dr. Kristin Gianelis is a dual board-certified Adult and Women’s Health Nurse practitioner with over 19 years of clinical experience. She received her MSN from Simmons University in 2005 and a post-master’s DNP from Frontier Nursing University in 2020.
Dr. Gianelis has dedicated her career to providing equitable, person-centered Women’s and Gender-related healthcare. She has worked in various settings, both outpatient and acute care, providing reproductive and sexual healthcare care to persons of all genders and ages. As an educator, Dr. Gianelis is passionate about advancing the role of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and incorporating Quality Improvement practices into the role of the advanced practice nurse. She serves on the National Women’s Health Advocacy and Policy Committee and WHNP Educational Taskforce, both for NPWH.
Dr. Gianelis currently owns and operates a small-volume GYN consultant practice and lives in Rhode Island with her husband and two teenagers. She is a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a perpetual student. Having recently completed her certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she is actively contemplating her next big “learning goal”!
