- Construct a weekly calendar that incorporates at least one daily self-care activity.

Kimberly Adams Tufts, ND, WHNP-BC, FADLN, FAAN
Dr. Kimberly Adams Tufts is currently DNP Project Faculty at Frontier Nursing University. She previously served as Chief of Education, Research, & Development at Hampton Veterans Medical Center. She has held various faculty roles, including Professor of Nursing and Associate Dean for Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Evaluation at Old Dominion University’s College of Health Sciences (ODU) and Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University. She is the recipient of many research and training grants. Dr. Adams Tufts also has a well-established record of supporting diversity, inclusion, and equity-based (DEI) initiatives. She was awarded three HRSA grants focused on enhancing nursing workforce diversity. As a result, Dr. Adams Tufts led programs focused on 1) increasing access to prelicensure baccalaureate education for students from Appalachian, African American, and Latino backgrounds, 2) leadership development for African American nurses, and 3) mentorship and academic support for rural nurses completing BSN education. She was one of the CORE2 (Committing Our Resources to Excellence via Equity) inaugural Faculty Diversity Leaders (FDL) at ODU. Dr. Adams Tufts has always had a personal and professional interest in health & wellness. Three years ago, she completed her education for health and life coaching, got certified in both areas, and launched her private coaching practice. Most of Dr. Adams Tufts’ clients are faculty women.
